Renewable Heat on Demand: High-temperature thermal energy storage: a comprehensive study from material investigation to system analysis via innovative component design
Silvia Trevisan has a PhD from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. You can find the episode about Silvia’s research here.
During her PhD she worked on building, characterizing, and optimizing devices for storing heat, or thermal energy. Her project focused on heat generated from renewable sources, and it also had a focus on making the storage device itself from sustainable materials. Research like this aims at paving the path for solutions to problems in today’s industry.
